OBITUARY.

•MBS. H. J. OSBOLDSTONE, AGED ' 35 YE AES. We regret to record the death of Mrs. Mildred Vida Osboldstone, wife of Mr. H. J. - Osboldstone, of Levin, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Walker, of Foxton, aged 35 years. Deceased was well-known locally and the news of her unexpected and sudden death came as a shock to a'll. Deceased had not been in good health for the past month, but her indisposition was not considered serious, and on the Thursday before Christmas she left for Christchurch, to spend a holiday with a brother, Mr. E. Walker, residing there. On Monday last a telegram was received in Levin stating that Mre. Osboldstone was in the Christchurch hospital, seriously ill. Her husband and her sister, Miss M. Walker, of Foxton, left; for the South the same night, but the sufferer passed away before they reached their destination. The late Mrs. Osboldstone leaves four children of school age —two boys and two girls. She and her husband had resided in Foxton, subsequently in the Auckland district, and foi the last four years in Levin. The deceased was esteemed wherever she went, being of a kindly and neighbourly disposition. Much sympathy will be. extended to the husband;, children, parents, and other relatives in their The funeral is to take place at Foxton tomorrow.
