TOWN HALL ATTRACTIONS.
* To-night should be laugh night at the Town Hall, when J. Farrell McDonald and Virginia Valli appear in the laughing feature “The Family Upstairs.” It is an intensely realistic story of what happens behind the doors of half the homes in the world, treated in a humorous manner by a. star cast of Fox players. Also comedy and News. Usual prices. BALCLUTHA BOYS’ BAND. The Balclutha Boys’ Band, a fine musical combination that is on a holiday tour of the North Island, will appear at the Town Hall tomorrow (Friday) evening-, when they will offer a diversified programme of musical items showing to what pitch of excellence it has been found possible to train these young players —every due of whom is under Hi years of age. A feature picture “The Auctioneer,” will also be screened. Prices 1/- and 2/-. Frederick William Wallace’s sea story “Captain Salvation,” heads a fine ’Xmas Eve programme.
