The local Retailers advertise that they will close their business-pre-mises on the 26th, 27th, and 28 th December, and 2nd and 3rd of January next. Notice is given elsewhere in this issue that the dog registration for 1928 is as follow^: —Bona fide sheep and cattle dogs, 2/6; all others 10/-. The above fees must be paid on or before 31st January, 1928. In a change of advertisement to-|> day, Mr. H. Hamer advertises cycles and accessories, Brunswick phonographs and records, etc. Cycle and phonograph repairs promptly executed.
