TO BE COMPLETED BY MA&CH. n*. It was announced at Tuesday’s meeting of the Manawatu County Council by the chairman (Cr. W. E. Barber) that'the new bridge-over the Manawatu River would be completed in March next. In connection with the road approaches, it was noticed that no provision had been made in the Public Works Estimates for these works, and it was necessary that they should be completed when the bridge is opened. The chairman said that he had drawn the attention of the Main Highways Board to the which would be given the attentiondesired.
