CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor). Sir, —The letter signed “Parent’’ > in your last issue astounded myself and all connected with the management of the children and stage at the recent Convent School con- ] eert. No reasonable person could" . think that the chlidren werfi yexposed to “the risk of fire” or otherwise, considering that Mi-, jjjfeKnight, Mr. Cresswell, some of.jthe ladies of the parish, four sisters, and myself kept 'supervision/ and were in constant attendance dur'ing the function. For many years, Mr. McKnight has gratuitously managed the stage for our concerts, and his care for the safety of the children has always been marked in a most pipnounced manner. No parent has made any complaint to those responsible fof the evening’s entertainment. i' Yours, etc., T. McDEEMOTT.
