Collinson and iCunninghamc, Ltd., advertise a big- offer in summer fabrics. A special general meeting of the Foxton Beautifying Society will be held in Ross’ rooms to-morrow evening, at 7 o’clock. Barr and Tyer notify that their Christmas Carnivah commences at their store to-day. A perusal of their advertisement will indicate how that firm has adjusted prices to meet the spending power of the public. A reward of £2O is being offered by the relatives to anyone discovering the body of Mr. H. G. Fleming, who is supposed to have been drowned whilst whitebaiting in the Patea river on November 16th. It is presumed that the body has been carried out to sea, and . may be. thrown up on the Foxton beach. Handkerchiefs as a gift are always acceptable.
