FIRST DAY AT FEILDING. The spring meeting of the Feeding .Jockey lOlub was held yesterday in glorious weather. There was a very large crowd present, and the totalisator handled £25,777, which, when compared with £20,736 last year, is an increase of £5041. The results are as follows: Waituna Hurdles:—Mister Gamp 1, Pouri 2, Star Area 3. Won by a neck. Time 3.15. . Aorangi j Trial Plate:—Broad Acre 1, Courageous 2, Plane 3. Won by three lengths. Time 1.16 1-5. Feilding Cup Handicap:—Joy Bird 1, Wanderlust and Euphonium dead heat 2. Won by three lengths. Time 2.10 4-5. ' ' Kowhai Hack Handicap (First Division):—Royal Acre 1, Mandarine 2, Tone 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.30.' Second Division: —Vigilance 1, Some Lad 2, Powhiri 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.30 3-5. Winner trained by J. Procter. 22nd Feilding Stakes: —Kiosk 1, Silfermine 2, Lady Cavendish 3. Lysander 4. Won by a length. Time 1.1 3-5. Flying Handicap: —Covent Garden 1, Sarchee 2, Epistle 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.16 2-5. ■Fitzroy Hack Handicap: —Vast Acre 1, Expense 2, Lucky Days 3. Won bv three lengths. Time 1.16 1-5. Kiwitea Highweight Handicap:— Ruanui 1, Kilmiss 2, Vivo 3.
