RACING.
Acceptances for all first day events including Trial Plate, in conncction with the Woodville Races on 7th and Bth December, close with the secretary at 9 plm. on "Friday, 2nd December. The Woodville Jockey Club’s latest improvement is a and well-furnished ladies’ room, 22 ft. long by 12 ft. wide, tastefully panefled and well lighted. It is entered through the ladies’ cloakroom on the south side of the tea kiosk, and is. .replete with fulllength mirrors, while a few restful chairs and a settee make provision for the waiting of the weary. The room has been very ingeniously devised to utilise space without addition to the building, while at the same time the tea-room has been made more convenient. It is to be hoped that the ladies will make full use of this room. The Woodville Racing Club’s meeting will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, December 7th and Bth. Special train service will leave Palmerston ' North at 10,5 a. rii. Excursion fares will obtain.
