WEEK END EXCURSION TO ROTORUA.
The enthusiasm manifested in the week end excursion arranged by the Railway Department is unabated. Interest is further stimulated by the announcement in to-day’s issue of another excursion to Rotorua. The excursion train is timed to leave Wellington at 4.30 p.m. on Friday, 2nd December. A remarkable readjustment of fares has been made to enable everyone to participate in what will probably be the last excursion to Rotorua for some months. An analysis of the fares to be charged on this occasion reveals the astonishing fact that it amounts to less than two-fifths of the usual ordinary first class fares. This should provide the opportunity for even those of limited means to join in the projected tour of Wonderland. ' As a means of further providing for the comfort of excursionists, the train will consist of all first • class carriages. The usual facility of being able to reserve accommodation at Rotorua by making application at any booking office is also available. As a convenience and a great time saver this arrangement should be availed of by everyone.
