LEVIN MEETING. Fine weather prevailed for the Levin Racing Club’s annual fixture on Saturday, and a record attendance and increased totalisator takings were the result. Last year, .£18,573 ;was put through the machine, while on Saturday £19,112 was registered, which is an increase of £539. Results:— ' Manakau Hack Hurdles: —Mister Gamp 1, Vexatious 2, Chrissarto 3. Won by two lengths. Time 2.50. Weraroa Hack Handicap:—Some Lad 1, Excess 2, Archon 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.31 1-5. Maiden Race: —Desert Lad 1, Plane 2, Broad Acre 3. Won by a head each way. Time 1.16. Mako Mako Hack Handicap: — Bissac 1, Carrigallen 2, Maui (Mr. C. S. Bryant’s) 3. Won by a nose. Time 1.15 1-5. Levin iCup:—Paitonu 1, Waicullus 2, Anolo 3. (Won by. half a length. Time 2.11. Lake Hack Handicap: —Henna 1, Twink 2, Archon 3. Won by a length and a-half. Time: None taken. Winner trainel by F. J. Cannont. - McDonald Memorial Handicap: — Mireusonta 1, Oreades 2, Deluge 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.14 2. Hokio Hack Handicap:—Miss Pat 1, Eka 2, -Shining Star 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.2 3-5. Winner trained and owned by Mr. F. J. Carmont. FEILDING JOCKEY CLUB. Acceptances for all first day events in connection with the Feilding Jockey Club meeting, including final payment for 22nd Feilding Stakes, will be received up till 8.30 p.m. on Thursday, 24th November, 1927.
