Mrs. AT. E. Perreau returned from a holiday and heailth-recruiting trip to Auckland and Rotorua last night. The Rev. W. Laycock, Methodist minister for 43 years, passed away gt his residence, Riccarton (Christchurch), on Sunday morning. Previous to the Alethodist Union, he was a member of the Primitive Alethodist Conference, of which he was president in 1895. He came to New Zealand in 1878, and throughout his long ministry he was very highly esteemed in all the circuits to which he was. appointed.
