FATALLY BURNED.

‘Christchurch, November 13. Mary Anne Murphy, aged 72, died in hospital on Friday night, five days after her admission suffering from severe burns on the face and . hands, the result of a fire at her home. Her husband, Patrick Murphy, and son, Leo Muhphy, were also severely burned. At the inquest yesterday Sergeant M. Hodgkins said that there was no evidence of how. the fire started, but it had originated in the room where deceased and the oth-. ers were sitting. There was no fire in the grate. The inquest was adjourned.
