“ZEALANDIA” MARK ON ARGENTINE BUTTER.
CANCELLATION ADVISED. Wellington, Yesterday. The Vice-Consul for Argentine states that he has received a telegram from the Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs which states that the Argentine Government has cancelled the Argentine mark “Zealandia” for distinguishing butter, and that the firm of Aiowson and Webster, grantees of the mark, have voluntarily withdrawn from circulation packages which displayed it. Measures have also been taken so that no similar mark can be registered in the Argentine.
