PERSONAL.

The death occurred suddenly at Nelson, yesterday of Mr. Robert Booth, father of Mr. Eric Booth, of Foxton, aged 71 years. The late Mr. Booth was connected with the Post and Telegraph dept, up to the time of his retirement about five years ago, and was located in different parts of the Dominion latterly as superintendent in the telegraph branch. He had made arrangements to visit members of his family in the North Island just prior to his death. Deceased leaves a widow and three sons and three daughters to mourn their loss. One son made the supreme sacrifice in the great war.
