LABOUR DAY MOTOR SPORTS.

The Foxton United Sports Association has decided to give a ten guinea cup to the winner of the Middleweight Championship.. For this event a special New Hudson machine has been imported by a Wellington firm. It is exactly the same model as that ridden by Lo Vaek in Paris recently, when lie attained a world’s record of 112 miles per hour. This machine will ho ridden by Mr T. Morgan, who will endeavour not. only to win the championship hut also to establish a New Zealand record. In connection with this race three special timekeepers have been engaged so that the time will he officially recognised. The present holder of this championship (Mr H. Moller, of Hawera- intends to make every endeavour to retain his title, so good racing may he expected.
