CADETS FOR SANDHURST.

If they pass the medical test and are certified fit for service, Messrs F. L. Davis (New Plymouth) and R. C. Queree (Christchurch)' are to undergo a course of military training at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, from February of next year.

These two young men are the choice of the Defence Department in pursuance of its policy of appointing two cadets annually to undergo two years’ training at Sandhurst, and then join the New Zealand Staff Corps as second lieutenants. The two appointees will leave for England towards the end of next month.

Mr R. C. Queree is a nephew of Mrs J. McColl, of Foxton.
