DEMPSEY LOOKING FOR FIGHT.
New York, September 29.
Heartened by a very enthusiastic welcome, Jack Dempsey arrived here and went into consultation with Tex Rickard about his future plans. “K’ve changed my wife’s mind and my own about fighting again, declared Dempsey, after the interview. He added, “I’m ready to fight Tunney or anyone else, anywhere, for whatever there may be in it. It wouldn’t take me long to get ready.”
