BOWLING.
OPENING OF LOCAL GREEN,
To-morrow afternoon, at 2 o’clock, the local bowling green and croquet courts will be opened by the President (Mr. R. Bryant) for the season’s play. It is anticipated that the attendance of visiting bowlers will be a large one. The general public are. also invited to be present. Local bowlers are requested to be in attendance promptly, to facilitate the arrangements for play. Bowlers and croquet players are requested to bring a basket for the purpose of assisting with the catering arrangements.
