CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor).

Sir, —At the meeting of Moutoa residents on Mondav night I was credited with making complaints re the school and urging that it be closed. This statement is contrary to fact. The firm by whom I am employed was asked to submit a price for conveying the school children to and from Foxton, which was done. Beyond that, I have had nothing to do with the question as to whether the school is closed or not. Yours, etc., v. McDowell.
