BAND OF HOPE.

The monthly meeting of the Combined Band of Hope was held last Friday evening in the Presbyterian Sunday schoolroom, and was opened with hymn and prayer. An interesting address was given, by Mr W. H. Nicholas. The following children provided the programme:— Phyllis and Horace Tongs, vocal duel; Shirley Barron and Kathleen Leech, songs; Ula Thomson, Phyllis Tongs and Joan Cowley, piano items Madge King, May' MeKnight, Ula Thompson and Alan MeKnight, recitations.

The meeting closed with the Benediction.
