“LOVERS.”
A motion picture with an “invisible villain” is the latest innovation of the screen. , It is “Lovers,” in which Ramon Novarro and Alice Terry play the leading roles and which comes to the Town Hall theatre on Friday next. The onlyjncnace and underlying evil influence is scandal, which is seen to gradually undermine the foundations of a family, ruin happiness, and create chaos. John M. Stahl directed this unique picture. With “Hullo Lafayette” (comedy), and News at usual pi’ices.
Saturday will see the presentation of the big mystery picture “Whispering Wires,” an exciting and laughable story of over zealous detectives who endeavour to ferret out a tragedy in a building charged with electrical contrivances. The big cast is headed by Anita Stewnit, Mack Swain and Frank Campeau. Prices as usual. “For the Term of His Natural Life,” is the next big special booked for the Town Hall.
