The attention of teachers is drawn to the advertisement in our advertising columns advising that the entries for all public schools, art and technical schools, and district high schools, will finally close on Saturday next, Ist October. Teachers who have not as yet received a copy of the prize list, should make application to the secretary, Box 85, Palmerston Nprth for one immediately. The entries for the home cookery, art needlework, and photography will be received up to Saturday Bth October, while those for ring competitions and live stock will close on Saturday 15th, October. Intending exhibitors are asked to send theii entries in early so as to be sure of their inclusion in the catalogue. The committee have this ycai made a special effort and preparations for the forthcoming event are well in hand.
