WEEK-END EXCURSION TO ROTORUA.

In order to give residents in the Wellington district an opportunity of visiting New Zealand’s Wonderland, Rotorua, the (Railway Department has decided to run a week-end excusion from Wellington' to Rotorua.

The excursion train will be steam-heated, leaving Wellington on Friday afternoon, October 14, and arriving back on the following Mon? day morning in time for work.

The fares will be half the ordinary rates and will extend through-out-the area Wellington-Marton-Palmcrston North-Dannevirke-Mas-terton, and seats may be reserved both ways.

•The excursion train will be met by a committee of Rotorua residents, who will advise regarding accommodation, trips and entertainments. They have also arranged for cut rates on all sight-see-ing trips and will distribute pamphlets with a map of the thermal district and outlining the trips to the most interesting of the numerous wonders which can be undertaken in Hie two days’ stay. Special entertainments are also being provided on the Saturday night and the bath houses will be open on the Sunday. Visitors are assured of a very enjoyable time.
