HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
It is anticipated that there will be large entries for the Spring Show on Thursday. The Horticultural Society has just had made, to fcheiil special order, a large number of tables of the latest design, for show purposes. These will he used for the first time on Thursday and will greatly assist in making the display of exhibits successful. Mr. B. G. Gower again offers his prize of £2 2s Od for the best collection of birds eggs at the Summer Show. Boys! get busy. The men’s committee are asked to meet at the Town Hall after the pictures on Wednesday evening to place- the tables in position and make any other arrangements necessary. The secretary will be in attendance at Ross’s Buildings at 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.ra. to-morrow, to receive entries. The Show will /he opened at 3 p.m. on Thursday by His Worship the Mayor. (Mr. M. E. Perrcau).
