Mrs. R. Owen returned home yesterday from the Palmerston North Hospital.
Mrs. Austin-Johnston and Miss Austin, of Wellington, are paying a brief visit to Eoxton.
Miss Ritchie, who has been residing with her aunt and.uncle (Rev. W. H. and Mrs. Wjalton, leaves for England at the end of this month. Mr. P. Mason, headmaster of the local District High School and who recently underwent an operation in the Palmerston North hospital, returned home to-day.
