INSPECTION OF OLD BUILDING. "When the Hon. K. S. Williams (Minister for Public Works) visited Foxton yesterday, he was invited to inspect the Courthouse, which he did in company with the Mayor (Mr M. E. Perreau) and the President of the Chamber of Commerce (Mr J. K. Hornblow) and the member for the district (Mr J. Linklater, M.P.). It was explained to the Minister that application had been made to the Minister for Justice to have a new Courthouse erected to replace the present structure, which was worm-eaten and an eye-sore to the town. It had been erected at a small cost about 50 years ago: The Minister, after making an inspection of the building, promised to lay the matter before his colleague.
