LUCK STILL IN.

MOTORIST’S SECOND ESCAPE,

Auckand, September 4. With the signal against him, and the crossing bells ringing, Mr. C. Campbell, of Dominion Motors, Ltd., drove into the 11.35 train from Henderson this morning. The engine hit the front of the car, smashing a wheel and damaging the bonnet. The driver was alone in the ear, and escaped uninjured. Mr. Campbell last year fell 66 feet in the car over the Buffer Gorge, turning three somersaults. A scratch on the wrist was his only injury. One man on that occasion was killed.
