ROUND THE WORLD ON FOOT.

Messrs Stevenson and Grundy, two young men, who started, out from Wellington on Thursday evening to tour the world on foot, arrived at Foxton yesterday afternoon, and were accorded a welcome by the Mayor (Mi-. M. E. Perreau). After spending the night they left again this morning for Palmerston North. The young men who carry only a change of clothes, bear letters of recommendation from the Prime Minister and Mayor of Wellington. Stevenson is a teacher by occupation and Grundy a journalist.
