CONFLAGRATION AT MARTON.
‘Marton, August 29. At four o’clock this morning a fire was discovered in the premises of the Marton Music Service. The brigade arrived in time to quell the flames only a small portion of the bu|il ! d|ing .being severely damaged. The stock of records and gramophones suffered from fire and water. The flames burnt through a partition into a hairdresser’s saloon and did slight damage. The premises are part of an hotel building, bedrooms being above the shops, but separated by a fireproof ceiling. The affair is a complete mystery.
