COMBINED BAND OF HOPE.

The monthly meeting of the Combined Band of Hope, was held in the •Presbyterian .Sunday school last evening. Mrs. Ross presided over a good attendance. The meeting opened with prayer and a temperance hymn. The following children took part in the programme : Horace Tongs, Ula Thomson, Phylis Tongs, piano items; Shirley Barron, song; Horace and Phylis r J*ongs, vocal duet; Veda Ban-on, Gwen Lecky, Madge King, Billie Lee, Phylis Tongs, Wilfred Symons, Shirley Barron, Kathleen Leach, Francis Good, Gordon Stone and Ula Thomson, recitations. Meeting closed with hymn and Benediction.
