VALEDICTORY.
During an interval at the conceit in the Masonic Hall last night, held under the auspices of the Methodist Church, the Rev. Mr. Peryman, on behalf of the Church, referred to the departure of Mr. and Mrs and Miss F. Chalk from Foxton, and, on behalf of the congregation, presested Miss IChalk with a bedroom clock and Mrs Chalk with a chaste floral bowl as a mark of esteem.
Mr J. Chrystall (Circuit Steward) expressed regret at the departure of Mr and Mrs Chalk, whom they looked upon as more than friends in Christian fellowship. He conveyed to them the best wishes of the Church for their future.
Miss Chalk feelingly responded, and thanked them for tha kind Avishcs expressed and tokens of esteem.
