GIRL GUIDES.
' A church parade of the Ist and 2nd Foxton companies of the Foxton Girl Guides was held at All Saints’ Church on Sunday morning. Acting-Captains Ritchie and Stanley were in charge of the respective companies. There were 13 of the Ist company, 11 of the second company and 9 Brownies present. Miss Neweome, the Provincial Commissioner of the Girl Guides visited Foxton on Thursday last when the local committee entertained her at afternoon tea at Walls’ tearooms,* following which she inspected the Brownies and Girl Guides.
