FOXTON UNITED SPORTS ASSOCIATION.

A general committee meeting of the above was held in the Racing Club’s office last evening. Present: Messrs W. T. Jewell (President), W. E. Barber, S. Barber, S. Austin, P. Jack, E. Parkin, J. Thomson, W. Ross, J. Newton, D. Christie, W. Jewell jnr., R. Bryant, D. Ogilvy, G.* F. Smith and C. A. Pearson.

The following new members were elected: —Rev. W. 11. Walton, Messrs G. Tregill and B. Moheky. Five applications were received for the position of secretary and Mr. R. McMurray was elected to the position. Mr. G. F. Smith thanked the Club for the manner in which cyclists were to be catered for at the forthcoming meeting.

Mr. Newton, reported that he had arranged the music for the dance on the evening of the Sports.
