SLY GROG

ASHBURTON PROSECUTION,

Ashburton, July 22,

At the Police Court, Gideon Scott was charged with having sold liquor in a no-lievense area, also with haying kept liquor for sale. He was convicted'and sentenced to three months’ imprisonment foi keeping liquor, the police awing the first charge.

He had eight previous convictions.
