HOCKEY
TOWN DEFEAT COUNTRY BY 1 ' POINT TO NIL.
Yesterday afternoon beautiful weather prevailed for the Town v. Country match, played on Easton Park. The game, which was evenly contested, resulted in a win for the Town team by 1 point to nil. Messrs and Wilson, ,of Palmerston Noi*th, refereed. At the conclusion of the match both teams were entertained to tea at Grady’s by the local team.
