LOST NOTES.
RETURNED TO OWNER
AUCKLAND, July 20
The five £2O notes lost, in the city on Monday were picked up by a youth near St. Matthew’s Church and were returned this morning to the owner, Mr S. Barry. The notes were in the envelope in which they were originally enclosed.
The finder was rewarded by a gift of £5.
