W.C.T.U.

A special meeting to celebrate the 33rd birthday of the “White Ribbon,” the official organ of the Union, will be held in the Methodist schoolroom on Thursday, at 3 p.m. This paper is owned, edited, and managed entirely by women. It deals with all subjects of interest to women and children, and is moreover thoroughly sound financially. A short sketch of its history will be given, interspersed by musical items. Afternoon tea will be provided and all women are heartily welcome. It is hoped that many will take the opportunity to be present and join with the members of this great world-wide organisation on such a happy occasion on Thursday.
