SECOND DAY AT TRENTHAM,
For the second day of the Wellington races at Trentham the weather was fine but bitterly cold. High-Weight Handicap: —Fairy Tidings 1, Closcfire 2, Mr. S. J. Easton’s San Pedro 3. Time 2 min. 40.} ses. Members’ Handicap : —King Lu 1, Solrose and Miss Hupana dead heat for second place.
