HOLES IN THE FOOTPATHS.

At last night’s Borough Council meeting Cr. Rand drew the Council’s attention to the fact that some person was deliberately picking 'holes in the bitumenksed footpaths in Cook, Union and Coley Streets. He was of opinion that something should be done to put a stop to such acts of vandalism. The Mayor said that if anyone was caught the Council would deal very severely with them.
