THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong and backing by west to south, then freshening” The weather will probably prove cold and showery. The night will probably prove very cold with frosts inland. Barometer rising. Seas considerable. Tides good.
