DECAPITATED BODY FOUND ON LINE.

SHOCKING RAILWAY FATALITY NEAR WHANGAREI. Wlvangarei, - Last Night. A tragic discovery was made by a railway employee at the Whakaparau crossing at six o’clock this morning.' A decapitated body was lying alongside the railway and the head some distance away. The subject of the tragedy was soon identified as Albert Nezer, storekeeper of Maungaturoto. The late Mr. Nezer was 60 years of age, and married and was wellknown in the district. An inquest will be held before Mr. T. Healey, coroner, to-morrow morning. It is supposed that deceased met his death by being run over by the midnight train from Auckland, which was the last train over that section of the line.
