PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

The Rev. W. H. Nicholas presided over a meeting of managers in the schoolroom last night. Correspondence arising out of matters affecting the local charge, and discussed at last Presbytery meeting, was discussed and it was decided to forward a letter of thanks to Presbyter v.

Matters in connection with the forthcoming church rally Avere discussed and it was reported that the Rev. Mr. Patterson, of St. Paul’s, Wanganui, had consented to conduct the services on the Sunday and to give an elocutionary recital during a week night. Messrs John Ross and D. R. Barron were appointed to act Avith the minister in drawing up a programme, the details of which will be submitted to members and adherents in a pastoral letter.

It was decided to postpone the annual meeting until after the week’s rally.
