FOOTBALL.
ITINERARY OF MAORI TOUR. A report was made to the New Zealand Rugby Union’s Management Committee that a sub-commit-tee had considered details in connection with, the tour of the New Zealand Maori team this season. The itinerary was approved as follows July 9. —v. Auckland, at Auckland. July 13.—v. Bay of Plenty, at Rotorua or Tauranga. m July 16.—v. Poverty Bay, at Gisborne. July 20.—v. Bush Districts, at Pallia tua. July 23. —v. Manawlienua, at Palmerston North. July 27.—v. Wairarapa, at Mastorton. July 30. —v. Nelson and Golden Bay, at Nelson. August 3.- —v. Buffer, at Westport. August 6. —v. Wrest Coast, at Greymouth. August 10. —v. North Otago, at Oamaru. August 13.—v. Otago, at Dunedin. It was decided that the team be composed of 22 players, with a manager, Mr. A. Takarangi to act in the latter capacity for the North Island section of the tour and Mr. Kingi Tnhiwi for the South Island section. AUSTIN BANNER COMPETITION At tile local racecourse this morning, in the primary schools competition for the Austin Banner, the local school defeated OhauManakau by 23 points to nil.
