BOWLING.

The annual general meeting of members of the Foxton Bowling Club, advertised to have been held on Tuesday evening last was adjourned until Wednesday evening next, in Ross’ Rooms, at 7.30 p.m. There were eleven members in attendance, and it was deemed advisable to let the meeting stand adjourned until the date mentioned above, owing to the fact that a number of members were unavoidably absent through prior engagements. Those in attendance on Tuesday evening spent some time in discussion of club matters while partaking of refreshments at Grady’s rooms. It is requested that a full attendance be present on Wednesday evening, to deal with the important business affecting the welfare of the Club during the coming season.
