JACKIE COOGAN AT TOWN HALL.

Jackie Coogan has forsaken small kid roles in his latest drama, a story of the race track, “Johnny get your hair cut," leading the programme at the Town Hall to-mor-row. The story is that of an orphan who tries to obtain a position as an apprentice jockey. With all the ingenuity of a determined adolescent, Jackie works his way into the confidence of “.Mother Slapp,” a kindly woman who keeps a boarding house for jockeys. He meets a derelict of the race track who owns a luTi'se, and the two enter into a pad. The events which lead t:p to the big race are full of mischief and Cun with Jackie ever present on the screen. Also “The Steeplechasers” (comedy), ' and news. Usual prices. Those never disappointing favourites Buck Jones and his horse “Silver," again score a hit in Saturday’s attraction. “The Flying Horseman.” written in Max Brands best style and produced in usual efficient Fox manner. Prices as usual.

In response to the world’s reiiiics! for another picture like “The Covered Wagon," James Craze has produced “The Pony Express,” which comes to the Town Hall next week.
