BEBE DANIELS AT CABARET.

Most girls, when fully equipped with “mad money,” usually walk home if they happen to have been out with a one-arm driver, but such was not the case with Bebe Daniels, who comes to the Town Hall Cabaret on Wednesday in the new Paramount Picture, “The Campus Flirt.” As a matter of fact, Bebe swam home from her motor ride, the motor being that piece of machinery which propels a motor boat. This particular launch was owned by Gilbert Roland, who plays the part of one of the undergraduates in this photoplay of college life and when he got too fresh, Bebe just jumped out and swam to shore. This all happened on cool and calm Lake Merritt, right off the campus grounds of the beautiful University of California, where the picture was taken. Besides Miss Daniels, the cast includes Charlie Paddock, the famous holder of many sprint records, El Brendel and James Hall. Also comedy and news. Cabaret prices. A line Western adventure drama “The Desert’s Toll,” will head Friday’s programme, whilst the ever popular Tom Mix will re-appear at the Town Hall on Saturday.
