FATAL GUN ACCIDENT.
PECULIAR CIRCUMSTANCES. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 23. Leonard Gabites, a young married man, died in the hospital last evening as a’result of gunshot wounds. The gun had been fired by a neighbour, George Wilcox, at deceased’s request, at a cow, which went mad. The cow charged Cox and as he fell, the gun went off.
