FOXTON AMATEUR CYCLING CLUB.

GENERAL MEETING

A general meeting of the Foxton Amateur Cycling Club was held in Tom’s shop on Thursday evening, presided over by the Chairman (Mr. H. Hutchins). There was a fair attendance of members present. It was decided that the club hold three races on June 3rd, for points prize for the Coughtrey Cup, the course to be the same as last year, the races to be 5, 3 and 1 mile respectively. ; Ist trophy value 10/6, 2nd trophy value 6/-. Entry fee 1/- each race. Messrs G. F. Smith, P. Little and R. Sorbie were appointed handicappers. Mr. G. Smith starter. It was also decided to hold a boys’ tricycle race, tyre race, 1 mile ladies, and to hold a competition for the best decorated doll’s pram. Decided to obtain the services of flag men for June 3rd.
