FOXTON DORCAS SOCIETY.
ANNUAL REPORT.
The annual report of the Foxton Dorcas Society to be presented to tile annual meeting next week, reads as follows.—
“During the year seven families have received assistance by way of parcels of clothing. In two cases a grant of 5/- per week was made for a time. The total amount given during the year in this way being £7.
“Through the generosity of Mrs. Healey the maternity lending bag, which has again proved its usefulness, lias been thoroughly renovated. i
“The Society are indebted to the Revs'. Walton and S. Peryman also the Salvation Army Officers, for their great assistance where investigation is necessary. “We wish to thank those who donated parcels of clothing for distribution, also All Saints’ Vestry, for use of the Guild room, Mr. G. 11.I 1 . Smith for receiving and distributing parcels, Mi 1 . R. Rangikeuea hon. auditor and the Herald.”
