PLUNKET SOCIETY
The monthly meeting of the above society was held in the Plunket office yesterday afternoon, sided over by Mrs F. Robinson (President). Also present were Mesdames Pearson, C. Edwards, F. Procter, Baker, Trueman, Rimrner, Christie, Roore, Downes, G. Small, Perreau, A. Ross and the secretary (Mrs McMurray). An apology for absence was received from Mrs W. H. Walton.
Before proceeding with the usual business, the President welcomed Mesdames Perreau, Small and Edwards, new members of committee. Mrs D. Ogilvy was also elected a member of committee.
The nurse’s monthly report showed wisits to Foxton 4, to homes 19, а. to office 61, children 73, a total of 134. New cases numbered б, and birth notices 10. Letters of advice sent out by the nurse during the month totalled three.
The secretary was instructed to order a case of emulsion. It was decided that the committee work in the same groups as last year and that the new members be drawn for.

No, I—Mesdames1 —Mesdames Pearson (organiser), Downes, Perreau, Heasman, Barr, Trueman. No. 2—Mesdames F. Procter (organiser)., Baker, A. Ross, Rimmer, Christie, F. Robinson, C. Edwards. No. 3 —Mesdames Barron (organiser), Ogilvy, Smith, Roore, Stevenson, Corn and Chrystall. Accounts amounting to £32 6/9 were passed for payment.
Mesdames A. Ross and G. F. Smith were appointed visitors and Mrs McMurray flower steward for the month.
The proceeds.of Mi 1 Corn’s weighing machine totalled 11/10 and office contributions 8/2.
